Converting a large number of TIFF, PNG or JPG files into PDF documents can be a time consuming and daunting task, especially if you don’t have the right tools for the job. Thanks to CM TIFF 2 PDF you can effortlessly merge and convert any number of image files into one, easy-to-read PDF document.
Batch conversion capabilities
CM TIFF 2 PDF is a powerful and versatile Mac OS X application that promises to help you convert numerous TIFF, PNG and JPG into a single PDF document. CM TIFF 2 PDF comes with a user-oriented interface onto which you can easily drag and drop multiple TIFF, Single Page TIFF, JPG, PNG images as well as other PDF documents.
You can also check the file listing, view their absolute file path, number of pages and file name. The top toolbar helps you load a series of files or entire folders containing image files and PDFs, clear the existing list, start or stop the merging and conversion process and access the Settings slide sheet.
Export to single PDF or multiple PDF documents
The Settings slide sheet helps you decide if you need to merge your source images and PDFs into a single PDF document or export them to separate PDFs.
In addition, you can type in the name of the combined output document, author name, subject and title with just a few keystrokes. You can also set the destination path and configure CM TIFF 2 PDF to display the created PDF at the end of the conversion process.
Since all exported PDF documents are made using generated image captures, it is worth mentioning that all output PDFs are not text-searchable. It would have also been useful if CM TIFF 2 PDF allowed its users to create bookmarks before merging and converting the source files.
