EasyBee offers you the possibility to quickly transfer media files from your iOs device to your Mac without having to sync the library via iTunes. The utility creates an image for the device, and you get to move files with simple drag and drop actions.
Access your phone’s content and transfer files via the Finder
The EasyBee app interface is represented by a simple status bar menulet that enables you to either start or stop the service. If the service is running, each time you connect an iOS device to your Mac, EasyBee will create an image for the device, which you get to access through a Finder window.
Note that for the EasyBee app to be able to access the device’s content, you must confirm on the phone or tablet that you are trusting the respective Mac computer. The entire procedure is extremely straightforward, and there are no customization options.
Move media filed from the iOS device to your Mac via drag and drop
Within the device image generated by the EasyBee app, you get to see files associated with installed apps, the default media folders (Movies, Music, and Photo), and a separate Storage folder.
Worth mentioning is that the media folders displayed are read-only, which means that you can browse the file list, play them in the Finder, and even move them to your computer, yet you cannot transfer content from the Mac to those directories.
On the other hand, you can move files to the Storage folder, even though you will not be able to access them directly on the iOS device. If you connect the phone to a different computer that also has EasyBee installed, you will be able to access the respective files as you would in any thumb drive.
